The Corrs have opened up on the reason they called it quits with Sharon admitting the foursome had to “get their lives on track”.
The Irish pop group have recently reunited and are due to tour the UK and Ireland next year with their new album but when they first broke up, it was all about family.
“One of the reasons we stopped was to get our own lives back on track,” Sharon said.

“I wanted to have children, it was so important to me. I think if it’s the one thing you don’t do, you’ll regret never having tried, or at least given it a chance.”
“There is a question of it not happening if you leave it too long. Having achieved something beyond our wildest dreams, we felt it was right to stop at that point.”
“We’re very organic people and have always done things our own way,” she told Sunday World’s Magazine +.
Duties: The new tour will work around their parenting duties
Meanwhile, Andrea has said that their upcoming tour will have to work around their parenting duties.
“The tour has to be manageable so that we can do our parenting.”
“We had such great parents, so we want to be great parents too.”
