New 2FM presenter Tracy Clifford endured a pretty awkward moment during her interview with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell.
The Hollywood stars jetted into Dublin to promote their new comedy Daddy’s Home, and clearly had been told Tracy had just started her new show The Tracy Clifford Show.
“Congratulations on your new show,” Mark told the presenter.
Awkward: Mark didn’t go easy on Tracy
“Is it going well? It’s a lot of pressure,” Will added.
But quickly Mark pointed out that the Dublin host wasn’t coming across too confident.
“It’s not going to work out,” Mark whipped.
Tracy quickly asked why and Mark had no problem explaining. “Well you’re not confident. Be comfortable.”
The presenter insisted: “I’m trying to be confident” but Mark was having none of it.

“That didn’t sound confident,” he added.
“I think it’s going to work out,” Will quickly intervened, saving everyone from even more awkwardness.
“You’re show’s going to be a huge hit,” he added.
The Anchorman star joked that he would be coming into 2FM to help her out with the show.

“2FM? Yeah I’m filling in next week… I can’t wait to work with you,” he joked.
Meanwhile Will admits in the interview that although he didn’t wear an Irish jersey on this press trip, he has a new one back home in California.
“I’ve got Irish underwear on, so don’t worry. I just got a brand new Irish jersey but I left it in Los Angeles,” he said.
