The Rubberbandits are set for a TV return with a brand new series on RTE.
According to The Sun, the comedy duo have been snatched up by TV bosses after their recent appearance on The Late Late Show.
The show is said to be a six-part series and will serve as a guide to Irish life.
”Their show got a good audience when it aired but after Blind Boy went on the Late Late Show, the Rubberbandits’ 1916 special became one of the most watched programmes on the RTE Player,” a source told the paper.

”That’s the kind of thing that makes RTE sit up and notice.”
Blindboy Boatclub’s interview with Ryan Tubridy drew praise from viewers as he discussed the problem’s young Irish people are facing.
”My generation can’t afford to buy a house, can’t afford to have a baby. My generation are either leaving the country or jumping in rivers.”
Blindboy recently appeared on Channel 4 news, discussing similar topics and young people’s mental health.
