Christine Quinn’s husband Christian Richard has been charged with assault and child abuse.
In March, the tech millionaire was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon following an alleged incident involving Christine and their two-year-old son.
The 45-year-old was accused of throwing a bag containing a glass bottle at his wife, which then hit their son – who was subsequently taken to hospital in an ambulance.
The Los Angeles city attorney said Christian has been charged with three misdemeanours: child abuse/endangerment, assault, and violation of a protection order.
Christian’s bond was initially set at $30,000, and Christine took out a weeklong emergency protective order against him.
However, shortly after his release, Christian showed up at their home in the Hollywood Hills, where police arrested him for the second time.
An LAPD spokesperson told DailyMail.com that officers arrived “at 10:48 pm and the suspect was arrested for violating the restraining order that was obtained the day prior. He posted bond of $30,000 and has a court date set for 4/11.”
In April, it was revealed that the tech entrepreneur had filed for divorce from the reality star.
Christian cited “irreconcilable differences” in his filing against the 35-year-old.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, he has also asked for sole legal and physical custody of their two-year-old son Christian with only visitation rights for Christine.
The 45-year-old also asked the court to prevent his former wife’s ability to seek spousal support and is not requesting alimony from her.
No explicit mention of a prenup was present in his filing.
According to the paperwork, Christian requested the court to help them divide their shared assets and property.
He also asked for any of the earnings he has made since their separation to be listed as solely his own.
For the date of separation, it was filled in: “to be determined.”
Christine and Christian have been married since December 2019 and welcomed their son Christian Georges Dumontet in May 2021.
Snippets of the couple’s relationship was documented on the popular Netflix real estate drama Selling Sunset, including their lavish wedding.
Christine was a series regular on the show until season 5 when she took a step back.
