Claire Byrne has opened up on her upcoming wedding to long-term partner Gerry Scollan.
The RTE presenter previously said she and her fiance hoped to tie the knot this year and now the host has revealed they’re planning a small, intimate affair.
“It will be very simple and something that you’ll probably hear about after it’s all done,” she said.

“We are not eloping, not doing any big thing because we have a one- and two-year-old,” she told the Irish Daily Mail.
“We’re not into anything that fancy so we’re just going to do something small and enjoy it ourselves.
With the constant demands of her TV career, Claire is looking forward to a relaxing holiday in Easter where she can spend time with her hubby to be.

“Things are good. It’s just been a really busy time with the election so that’s where the focus has been.
“[I’m] going to take a week off at Easter – really looking forward to that.
“We’re just going to relax for a week and take some time out as it’s just been so, so busy. Both of us have been really busy.
