The former model shocked fans as she posted a picture in a neck brace to her Instagram story.
The 38-year-old revealed that she had sustained an injury during an attempted headstand on Monday.
The mother-of-four has been a red carpet regular at the gala for many years since her debut alongside husband John Legend in 2011.
Sharing a picture of her in her neck brace she joked on her story that she was “@ The Met!”
She later hilariously posed for a selfie in the neck support and added: “I tried to do a headstand.”
The highly-anticipated 2024 Met Gala finally took place on Monday, May 6th.
The dress code for this year’s star-studded fundraiser, which always takes place on the first Monday of May, was “The Garden of Time”.
Attendees were invited to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
