Queen of Ireland Panti Bliss is being lined up to deliver the votes of the Irish jury on Eurovision night.
In previous years Nicky Byrne has given the Irish results – however the former Westlife star will now perform Ireland’s entry in Stockholm this May.
The drag queen, who is known for hosting Eurovision parties at Panti Bar, is looking like the country’s new candidate.

Goss.ie previously reported that Panti had been given Nicky’s blessing to take over his Eurovision spot.
However, an RTE spokeswoman spoke to the Sun insisting no decision has been made yet.
“Nothing has been decided yet, lots of people are interested,” the spokewoman said.

Despite RTE’s stance on the Eurovision, a source told the paper that Panti Bliss would be a great representative for presenting Ireland’s votes.
“Having a drag queen delivering the votes of the jury and representing Ireland to millions around the world would send out a very positive message,” they said.
