Dubliners are excited for the city to have it’s first permanent food market.

It was revealed last month that The Eatyard would be taking up residence right beside the popular Bernard Shaw bar on Richmond Street.

Now the people of Dublin have been blessed with some of the best eateries in the city all in one spot.

According to Lovin’ Dublin, there are fifteen delicious stalls making a home at the food market.

Popular spots like Pitt Bros., Pieman and Box Burger will be dishing out the best and most scrumptious food in Dublin.

The food market will be open to the hungry public this Thursday, November 24th.

1. Big Blue Bus

A favourite among many Bernard Shaw locals, their Big Blue Bus is sure to be one of the most popular stops in the Eatyard.

A permanent setting in the popular bar and having made camp at many festivals over the last few summers, the pizza bus has a mouth-watering selection of pizza – even their Margherita is one of the best in Ireland.

Hungry guests can also pick up some of their tasty garlic bread and bruschetta from the Big Blue Bus.

2. Ariosa Coffee

Born in the town of Ashbourne, Meath in 2003, Ariosa will be making sure that guests at the Eatyard will be fuelled enough to jump around to all the food stalls.

The coffee company is one of the most popular in Ireland servicing cafes and restaurants all over Ireland.

Their ethically sourced beans are roasted on a weekly basis to ensure the freshest coffee possible.

3. Brewtonic Beers

From the team that brought you the popular Bodytonic company that hosted the iconic Twisted Pepper and the popular Bernard Shaw, the Brewtonic crew will also have made a home at the Eatyard.

The crew will be there handing out some tasty IPAs to customers to wash down all the tasty food but also some unique cocktails and bitters to tantalise your tastebuds.

4. The Brewtonic Lemonade Soda Stand

For a thirst you can’t quite quench, the Brewtonic Lemonade Soda Stand has just the thing for you.

Made from fresh lemons and honey instead of sugar or sweetener, it’s sweet and sour taste will liven your tastebuds to try even more of the tasty food on offer.

And it’s not going to blow your socks off either as they’ve specially fermented it so that the lemonade ends up being less than 1% alcohol – which means that you can always have a second.

5. Pitt Bros

This will make you drool – Pitt Bros are bringing their delicious dinners to Eatyard.

Their home base on George’s Street is already a hit among many with so many tasty options on offer from their buttermilk chicken to their mouth-watering hot dogs – and let’s not forget their pulled pork.

Known for delivering tasty health grub to your door, Piply will be setting up base in the Eatyard.

Piply was set up by a team who were fed up that there were no healthy take-aways available for people, so teamed up with the folk over at Brother Hubbard to solve the problem.

They only serve the Dublin 8 area but now everyone can enjoy the tasty feed at the food market on the regular.

7. Veginity

If you’re more of an animal lover and looking for a tasty veggie option, Veginity is the place for you.

The food truck has recently been named Best Street Food 2016 – and for good reason.

The plant-based eatery is a haven for vegetarians and is sure to be a massive hit with even meat-eaters.

8. Box Burger

Far from it’s home out in Bray, Box Burger will be the burger joint to hit on Thursday.

Not only do they serve high-quality meat but their presentation of their Instagram-worthy burgers will make you drool alone.

Expect some of their best sellers but also some unique and tasty treats like the Louisiana Burger.

9. Pieman

The best way to warm up on a chilly evening is with a scrumptious pie – and Pieman is a no brainer for a tasty winter warmer.

The company has be serving out freshly made meat pies from their Temple Bar shop for a couple of years but has fast become a favourite for many.

They don’t only serve pies, but also flakey sausage rolls, warm soups and tummy-hugging stews that are sure to be a winner this Thursday.

10. Dublin Doughnut Company

If you’re a sucker for a good doughnut, this should be your first indulgence on Thursday.

The Dublin Doughnut Company create handcrafted, fluffy doughnuts that come in a variety of flavours that change on the day.

There is also a build-your-own ice-cream doughnut where you can pick out any doughnut you fancy as a base before having lashings of their homemade whipped cream on top and sprinkled with toppings of your choice – including homemade yummy Reese’s Pieces.

11. Broughgammon Farm

A family run business, Broughgammon specialise in offering kid goat, free range rose veal and seasonal wild game.

They are all about sustainable food sourcing and are trying to promote a more permacultural solution to Ireland’s farming needs and all of their products are ‘bi-products’ of other industries.

The menu includes their bestselling ‘Billy Burger’, free range rose veal steak burger, pulled Cabrito wraps, Cabrito curry, rose escalope sandwich, slow-cooked pulled veal wraps or burgers, goat kebabs and wild venison burgers

12. Cornude Artisan Popcorn

It’s hard to say no to a bag of popcorn – and it’s even harder when there’s a kick to it.

Cornude Artisan Popcorn have a host of different bespoke flavours on offer in the Eatyard.

One of the most popular stalls to have at weddings, they will be bringing their unique and interesting flavours to Dublin this Thursday.

13. The Ploughman’s Daughter

If the cold winter weather makes you crave just a good plate of potatoes or gooey, delicious cheese, The Ploughman’s Daughter is the spot for you.

The Ploughman’s Daughter will be serving boiled baby potatoes smothered in molten Raclette cheese which is melted to order and scraped directly off the wheel onto your plate.

They will also have some of their pickled onions and a variety of other seasonal options to top your plate of spuds with.

14. Winter Warmers

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a hot whiskey by your side – and Winter Warmers have just the thing for you.

From hot toddies with whiskey or rum fused with lemon, honey and spice to mulled wine livened up with lemon, cloves and fresh orange, there is something for anyone looking to wet their whistle.

15. The Jameson Bar

Last but certainly not least, Jameson will have a delicious drinks bar set up.

Exclusively for Christmas, Jameson Caskmates and Brewtonic Craft Beer will be partnering as Boilermates creating festive and delicious pairings in the bespoke Jameson container bar.
