Joanne McNally has opened up about the struggles of dating following her split from ex-boyfriend Alan Byrne.
The comedian began dating the actor in early 2022 after meeting on the celebrity dating app, Raya.
In March, the 40-year-old announced the couple had separated after two years of dating on her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, which she co-hosts alongside Vogue Williams.
Joanne revealed the current struggles she is facing in the dating world on the TikTok famous therapist, Therapy Jeff’s podcast.
Speaking on the Problem Solved podcast, the comedian said: “I’m different now because I’m older and now there’s very little I put up with, which is the problem.”
“Before I put up with too much, now I won’t put up with anything.”

She continued: “I matched with a guy on an app the other day and he asked for my number and I gave it and he just started ringing me straight away, and I was like ‘No, no, no…'”
“We’re not ringing, that’s not where we are, so I cancelled the call and I texted him and I said: ‘Did you just f***ing rng me?’ and he was like ‘yeah?'”
“So that’s where I am and I was like no we’re not doing that,” Joanne quipped.
Revealing the news of her breakup on her podcast in March, Joanne recounted her recent trip to Las Vegas and slipped in the fact that she and her agent were “recently single.”
She joked: “Vegas was wild, I don’t know why I had to act like I was on a stag. The reason I was going was for work, I was going to do a series of shows…”
“We threw in a bit of craic as well. Me and Christina are both recently single. Me and Alan have parted ways and Christina is recently single as well,” she revealed.
The two women embarked on the trip to “book future gigs” but got overwhelmed by the aura of “s*x in the air” in Sin City.
However, Joanne confessed: “I wasn’t really arsed, but what I will say is I knew she [Christina] was a big hit with men, but the men were chatting her up and there was a stream of them.”
“I was like ‘I’m sorry I’m here but where am I supposed to go’… Christina was doing that thing where she’s like ‘Joanne is a client and she’s doing this’ and I’m like ‘stop selling me to these random men in their 50s.’”
