Donald Trump named TIME’s Person Of The Year – and people are OUTRAGED

The magazine back up why they chose the controversial candidate

Donald Trump has been named TIME Magazine’s Person Of The Year – and people are outraged by their choice.

The president-elect has been one of the most talked about celebrities of 2016, mostly, for bad reasons.

Outspoken stars like U2’s Bono and singer Miley Cyrus campaigned passionately for voters to choose Hillary Clinton as their next president.

After a controversial election battle, it was the entrepreneur who is set to make his way to the White House and now he’s landed another huge title.

“This is the 90th time we have named the person who had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year,” the publication stated.

Coming second to Donald, again, was the Democratic party’s choice Hillary, who was “the woman who was almost President, she is what might have been and what will yet be.”

Finally, third place was given to hackers world-wide – those who “broke into the U.S. Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service and likely the National Security Agency” over the last year.

“They leaked the confidential medical records of elite athletes Simone Biles and Serena and Venus Williams, the private photos of celebrities including comedian Leslie Jones and, along the way, the embarrassing password choices of a billionaire hacker named Zuckerberg.”

However, many don’t agree that the title should have been given to Donald, and hundreds online have hit out at TIME for their choice.
