Celebrities all over the world are mourning the loss of top Hollywood director Garry Marshall.
The man behind huge movie hits including Pretty Woman and TV series Happy Days died on Tuesday and A-listers have shared touching tributes.
Taking to his WhoSay account Tom Hanks wrote that he will be sorely missed.
“Garry Marshall was a wonderful man, hilarious, gifted in the ways of humanity and storytelling,” he said.
“He launched and nurtured more careers than he had shoes. Oh lord, how he will be missed. Hanx.”
Pretty Woman star Richard Gere also mourned his death, speaking to Hollywood reporter.
“Garry of course , was one of those truly important people one is blessed to meet in one’s lifetime.
“He was a super fine and decent man, husband and father who brought real joy and love and infectious good spirits to every thing and everyone he crossed paths with,” he added.
With Garry’s latets movie Mother’s Day released just this year, one of the stars of the movie Kate Hudson said toady was a “hard day” in a moving Instagram post.
