In the photo of Kate in a gorgeous red satin one-shoulder gown, she wears a glittering pair of diamond earrings that belong to Queen Elizabeth.
In a second black-and-white image, Kate wears a pair of diamond and pearl drop earrings that belonged to Princess Diana, as well as the late royal’s sapphire engagement ring.
Kate will celebrate her birthday privately amid the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases across the UK.
The Duchess celebrated her 39th birthday last year with a tea party hosted by her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
