Model turned presenter Daniella Moyles has hit out at the PPI Radio Awards after only three women were nominated for awards.
The annual awards ceremony is always full of the stars of Irish radio, and Daniella wasn’t too happy to see only three females up for awards.
“Ugh this may appear to come from somewhere other than genuine curiosity, but 3 female nominees out of 40? Pretty (heartbreaking)Â for women in radio,” she wrote on Twitter.

The only women nominated this year include Louise Duffy who’s up for Best DJ, Shona Murray who’s up for Best News Reporter and Sandy Harsch who’s up for Specialist Music Broadcaster of the year.
However a spokeswoman for the awards said that the list was judged by 81 industry professionals.
“We don’t choose the nominees. The stations all put in people into the categories. That’s a very long list and then each category is judged by 81 people.
