The first trailer for Jack Reynor’s new film A Royal Night has just been released.
Based on true events, the movie tells the story of Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret as they are granted permission to celebrate the historic VE Day in 1945 with the British public.
Putting on a British accent for the movie, the Sundance award winner plays a young man Jack who is a solider celebrating the end of the Second World War.
Jack will star beside with big names Rupert Everett and Emily Watson as King George and Queen Elizabeth.
This is the Wicklow actor’s first big Hollywood release after his performance in Transformers 4: Age of Extinction.
It’s been a busy year for the 23-year-old who will be starring in Macbeth with Michael Fassbender later this year.
