Zac Efron has revealed some heartbreaking news.
The 28-year-old’s beloved dog, named Puppy Efron, has sadly passed away – and the actor took to social media to pay tribute to his pooch.
The Baywatch star revealed that he had lost his “best friend” and that he’d see him again “at the finish line”.
“Through thick and thin you’ve always been my best friend. I’ll see you at the finish line, RIP Puppy Efron,” he wrote.
The actor also included some song lyrics by Chance the Rapper, confirming that he hopes to see his pup again in heaven.
“Felt hog tied ever since my dog died/He lived to 84, damn, that’s a long ride/I know he up there he just sit and he wait/I’ll be racing up the stairs I’mma get to the gate singing’ – Chance the Rapper.”
The news comes after Zac slammed rumours that he would be taking on the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
