Calvin Harris has hit out at ex girlfriend Taylor Swift, by claiming that she “controlled the media”.
The 32-year-old hitmaker has thrown serious shade at his former flame – after she went public with new beau Tom Hiddleston just two weeks after announcing her split from Calvin.
The Scottish DJ responded to comments on his Instagram account on Thursday night, and openly spoke about his split from Taylor, and how he felt “free” now.
One commenter asked him if he was jealous of Taylor’s new boyfriend, but Calvin replied, “Not jealous sir, FREE.”

Calvin, who dated the pop star for 15 months, then went on to imply that Taylor “controlled the media and this situation.”
“I had no idea what was going on. So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective.”
The star has since deleted his comments, but according to fan screenshots, Calvin continued to discuss his relationship with Taylor.
One fan asked why he unfollowed his ex, only to follow her back a week later.
“I cared too much and then I didn’t care at all. I am a real person remember,” he wrote.

Another commenter asked why he left Taylor, to which he responded, “Bro I didn’t leave anyone and she’s def not sad. It’s all good.”
Finally, Calvin responded to a fan account that stated, “For all we know Taylor broke up with him to be with another man and this is quite upsetting. I would be hurt by that too. He’s not being mean. He deserves to feel free while he’s single and not feel jealous.”
Calvin then replied, “@butikeepswifting you’re the only smart one at this point.”
