Kevin Curran has passed away at the age of 59.
According to Variety, the legendary comedy writer and producer, who spent 15 years working on The Simpsons, passed away on Tuesday in Los Angeles after a long illness.
In his lifetime, Kevin won six emmys, and was best known for his work as a producer and writer on The Simpsons, as well as his work on Late Night With David Letterman.
Kevin started working on The Simpsons in 1998 and worked for the show until 2015.
Al Jean, show runner of the much-loved animated comedy said, “Kevin Curran was a sweet, brilliant man who said many hilarious things, some unprintable, others which will live forever in a children’s cartoon.”
