Rumoured Love Island 2024 contestant Patsy Field ‘introduced’ to ITV bosses by All Stars islander

One of the rumoured Love Island 2024 contestants, Patsy Field, was “introduced” to the show’s bosses by a former All Stars islander.

The influencer will join the other three singletons rumoured to join the lineup and jet off to Majorca in the coming days before the series returns on June 3rd.

The 29-year-old has a connection to the show being close friends with Lili Piper, sister of Love Island star Sophie Piper.

Sophie first rose to fame on the show’s winter season in January 2020 – returning for a second chance to find love on this year’s All Stars season.

Patsy’s connection to the reality star reportedly helped her nab a meeting with the ITV bosses, who ultimately chose to put her in the villa.

A source told The Sun: “Patsy is really good friends with Soph’s sister Lili and the pair of them were actively cheering Soph on earlier this year when she jetted off for All Stars.”

“Soph was super grateful for Patsy’s support and helped to get her in touch with the programme’s casting team when she returned to the UK.”

“Both Soph and Lili think Patsy will make a great Islander and cannot wait to watch her try and find love on-screen this summer,” they added.

Patsy was born with Erb’s palsy, a condition where her right arm is shorter in length and unable to function as well as her left.

She will follow in the footsteps of former Islanders who were also born with a disability – including Tasha Ghouri, who was the first deaf star to appear on the show, as well as partially sighted Ron Hall, and Hugo Hammond, who was born was clubfoot.

An insider told MailOnline: “Patsy is a brilliant signing for the show, she’s hilarious so will definitely bring good vibes and positive energy.”

“She has never let her disability define her but she’s also excited for the opportunity to educate audiences who might not know about Erb’s palsy because awareness is key.”

Love Island will return to our screens on June 3rd with a brand new set of singletons.

The popular dating show will be filmed once again in Majorca and will be hosted by the one and only Maya Jama.

While the lineup is yet to be announced, a host of names have already been linked to the series alongside Patsy.

Last week, the Sun revealed Ciaran Davies as the first contestant “confirmed” to appear on the show this summer.

Manchester-based model Grace Jackson was “confirmed” as the second contestant for this year’s Love Island.

Finally, Makeup artist Samantha Kenny was the third contestant “confirmed” for the summer series of Love Island.
