Romeo Beckham has confirmed his split from his girlfriend Mia Regan after five years together.
It was reported yesterday that the pair split after spending Valentine’s Day apart.
The 21-year-old son of Victoria and David Beckham has now taken to his Instagram to inform fans of their split.
He wrote on his Instagram stories: “Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love, we still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.”
An insider previously told The UK Mirror: “Romeo and Mia had a fallout… they aren’t together at the moment.”
“Mia has apparently moved out of the place they shared and is staying with her parents.”
“They’ve split up in the past and got back together again, but this time it feels more serious – Mia moving out obviously points to it being more than just a tiff.”
Sharing a picture of herself with Romeo on her Instagram Stories, Mia wrote: “This is Ro, we have grown up with each other since we were 16!! Love takes different forms & paths as you mature.”
“We aren’t together romantically but we do share lots & lots of love for one another… after 5 years we friendzoned each other.”
Rumours of the pair’s break-up began after they spent Valentine’s Day apart – with Romeo spending it with his mother, Victoria.
Some followers were quick to point out that Romeo also hadn’t liked any of Mia’s recent Instagram posts.
Sources said in January the couple wanted their own space so moved out together.
They were later seen in a TikTok video showing off their new pad, which Mia captioned: “Roomies and I.”

After their first split in 2022, Romeo previously deleted all traces of Mia from his social media.
A source told MailOnline at the time: “Essentially the long distance relationship at their young ages took its toll.”
The couple reportedly struggled with their long-distance relationship, as Romeo plays football in Florida while Mia is primarily based in London.
