Paige Turley has revealed the status of her relationship with her ex Finn Tapp.
The pair recently sparked speculation they’re back together, after reuniting on Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
The former couple shot to fame when they won the winter series of Love Island back in 2020, but they sadly split last April – after three years together.
Earlier this year, it was announced that the pair would be coming face-to-face on Paramount+ and MTV’s new series of Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
At the time, fans questioned whether they staged their split in order to reunite for the cameras.
However, the pair shut down these claims, and insisted that they weren’t back together.
Despite their denial, insiders later claimed that Paige and Finn had secretly decided to give their romance another shot after filming the show.
But sadly, Paige has revealed their romance isn’t back on.
Speaking on the Straight To The Comments podcast, the 26-year-old was asked to comment on the speculation their breakup was all for the cameras.
The reality star told hosts Archie Manners and Josh Pieters: “No, I wish I did, to be honest – less traumatic!”
Josh replied: “I’m not gonna lie, Paige, that wasn’t the most convincing answer I’ve ever heard on this podcast…”
Paige continued: “But like, this is what I don’t understand. How they can write this kind of stuff, where are they getting it from? Why would somebody pretend to break up?”
“I think people think we’re together now, let me rest assured, we’re not.”
Paige insisted she forked out money on removal vans when she moved out of the flat she shared with Finn in Manchester – backing up that they did in fact split.
She said: “Do you know what though, in my mind, I was living in Manchester, and I moved to Glasgow. Do you know how f*****g expensive removal men are? The money that I get from Ex on the Beach isn’t even going to cover the one guy, and I needed three!”
When she was asked how her relationship with her ex is now, Paige replied: “Erm… amicable.”
Just last month, The Sun reported that the pair were back on.
At the time, a source told the outlet that they had decided to give things “another go”.
“The truth is, neither of them properly moved on after their split and they realised while filming the MTV reality show that there were still a lot of feelings there,” the source continued.
“After filming wrapped, they had a big heart-to-heart and decided they still wanted to be together.”
“They’re taking it slowly, as they obvious had issues before splitting, but they’re committed to making it work this time.”
However, the newspaper has since reported that Paige recently called it quits for good after finding out about Finn’s “fling” with MAFS star Tamara Joy.
An insider revealed: “Paige was mortified by Finn’s fling with Tamara. He was the one trying to get her back and then threw his second chance in her face. She’s definitely ruled out ever getting back with him now.”
