Love Island stars in talks to enter the villa for a third time

Love Island stars Jess and Eve Gale have revealed that they were in talks to enter the villa for a third time.

The twins have now confessed they were approached by bosses from the US version of the hit reality show.

The pair first appeared on the show during the winter series back in 2020, entering the villa for a second time for the All-Stars version this year.

However, Eve and Jess failed to find love on the show during their two stints on the show – despite Jess coming second with her ex Callum Jones.

Speaking to The Sun, Eve confessed: “When we were in holding for Love Island All Stars…Love Island USA got in touch with our management.”

“They didn’t realise that our management were running our social media when I was in lock down in Cape Town and didn’t realise that I was out of contact.”

“They contacted my management about speaking to us about Love Island USA and didn’t know we were in holding for Love Island All Stars.”

She continued: “So my management couldn’t speak to us as we were in holding for about a month.”

“But that time we missed the casting period.”

“I’m glad I did All Stars but no doors have been shut,” she added.

Jess similarly said she would be open to appearing on another dating show – but insisted it would have to be international.

She told the publication: “I always say with UK TV shows Love Island is probably the biggest show and I’m happy to have done that.”

“I think if I was to do more TV, I think it would be nice to do more in America or the idea of Netflix.”

“Even in All Stars it was a bit repetitive, when you start getting people from different places and you’re in different places, with a slightly different format and cultures.”

“I think that would be a bit more exiting.”

She continued: “Thank god I didn’t have history with anyone, but everyone else had history and you’ve heard of everyone else had history and you’ve heard of everyone and it’s like ‘Oh hi, I’ve seen you at Thorpe Park Halloween…'”

“It’s not a fresh experience and you already have pre-judgements of people and already you have limited options because there are six guys and some people are close friends because they wouldn’t get with them because their friend has history with them on the outside world.”

“It just opens up a whole different dimension of awkwardness.”

“I feel like a definitely need a little break from it, but you never know. I will always be down for stuff like that. It just depends with timings and stuff.”

“I don’t think I could ever do it without Eve, we are so used to having each other and doing it together. I’d definitely prefer us to do it together, I couldn’t do it apart from Eve.”

“Even the stuff like the holding, it would be horrible to do it alone,” she confessed.

“They kept things covered up by the duvet but let’s just say just like with the sleepover at Casa, producers have so much footage they can’t use it all without it becoming the Grace and Joey show.”

“Things are moving fast, but having dated before there’s not the same timescales around forming a bond,” she added commenting on the current series of the show.
