Love Island’s Will Young has unfollowed his former “best friends” Tom Clare and Casey O’Gorman on Instagram.
The trio became close friends during their time on the winter series of Love Island earlier this year, and even referred to themselves as ‘The Three Musketeers’.
However, Will and Casey had a falling out when Casey questioned whether Will’s girlfriend Jessie Wynter was “faking” her feelings for him.
Will later confronted Casey during an awkward episode of Aftersun, and fans thought they had buried the hatchet.
However, Will has now unfollowed Casey and Tom, who recently moved in together, on Instagram – as well as Ron Hall and Kai Fagan.
Fans have pointed out that Tom, Casey, Ron and Kai recently reunited for dinner, and questioned whether Will wasn’t invited – prompting him to unfollow all four of them.
It could also have something to do with comments Casey made on our podcast Goss Island last month.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, the Love Island star revealed why he and Tom are no longer in touch with Will.
He said: “We’ve got a group chat – me, Tom and Will. Because we were, you saw it on TV, I was constantly with those boys.”
“We built up such a strong relationship in there. So I just assumed that we’d keep up that strong relationship outside the villa, but that really hasn’t been the case.”
“Me and Tom are still as close, we live together now. But I feel like Will has distanced himself from us. And look, that’s not to say that he doesn’t like us or anything like that.”
“I just think that he’s so busy with [his girlfriend] Jessie [Wynter], he’s been in Australia, he’s been in America. I think he’s literally been travelling for like the last three months so I completely understand he’s a busy boy.
“But it would be nice to meet up with him and speak some more to him, but I just haven’t got around to doing that – nor has Tom,” he added.
