King Charles was in good spirits this morning, as he made his first public appearance since revealing his cancer diagnosis in February.
The British monarch and his wife Queen Camilla attended the annual Easter Service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, marking his “gentle” return to public life.
The 75-year-old smiled and and waved at well-wishers before entering the church, and wished them a happy Easter.

According to the Sunday Express, Charles and Camilla sat apart from other members of the Royal family during the service to avoid any infection during his treatment.
The news comes just over a week after Kate Middleton revealed she had also been diagnosed with cancer, and was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
The Prince and Princess of Wales didn’t attend today’s service, as they are spending Easter at home with their three children.
Prince Andrew lead the procession of the remaining royals today, as they arrived at the chapel.
This follows protocol despite Prince Edward having been endorsed as the leading figure during Charles’ illness.
Michael Colet, a royal expert, told the Sunday Express: “In the absence of Prince William, his brother Prince Harry, and their children, Andrew has precedence as eighth in line to the throne, despite the dark clouds that gather over his head as a result of his ill-judged friendship with the late, unlamented serial child abuser Jeffrey Epstein.”
He continued: “The King is a man of faith and Easter has always been of great importance to him.”
“He was determined to attend St George’s Chapel, leading the Royal Family in the celebration of Christ’s resurrection, the most significant date in the Christian calendar.”
