Katie Prince has slammed influencers who use “work” as an excuse to jet off to Dubai during the pandemic.
A host of reality stars and influencers have flown to the United Arab Emirates in recent months, with many insisting their travels were for “work” purposes.
Speaking on Fubar Radio’s Access All Areas show, Katie hit out at stars “rubbing their travels in people’s faces”, saying it was “out of order”.
“It’s bulls**t really. For me, I would rather be at home, do things properly,” she said.
“The thing is, you’ve got people out there who’ve lost their jobs, got no money, who are depressed, mentally depressed thinking, how are they going to get out this hole? How are they going to find another a job?”
“And what they don’t need is people, no disrespect, going out to Dubai, making out they’re an influencer because they’ve had five minutes on a show or something, rubbing it in their face.”
The mother-of-five added: “They’re not even celebs. Who gives a s**t, like I wish everyone would unfollow them all and really do a job and work. It’s just unfair.”
“I could fly, of course, you can find ways to fly out, but I’m not going to rub it in anyone’s face because it’s out of order. You’ve got to live and breathe what you’re going through.”
“Don’t get me wrong, we all want a holiday, course we do. But, no, I’m not into that. You’ve got to accept what’s happening. Live it and breathe it together.”
