James McVey has revealed that he proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Kirstie Brittain.
The Vamps singer shared the news of their engagement on his Instagram last night, sharing a pic of their Hello! cover with the caption: “In the words of Noah, ‘The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.’”

The ‘I’m A Celebrity’ star admitted that he decided to pop the question during his stint on the show, after he saw Harry Redknapp’s loving marriage to Sandra.
James even asked the king of the jungle to help with picking out the ring: “By the time Harry arrived I had already chosen the ring, as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. And Harry loved it too.”
The 24-year-old previously hinted that he’d propose when he appeared on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on New Years Eve, as he replied to proposal questions: “I don’t know about tonight. My parents are sat over there so I don’t want to give it away.”
