Frankie Bridge addresses rumours she’s signed up for this year’s I’m A Celeb

Frankie Bridge has addressed rumours she’s signed up for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The Saturdays star was linked to the 2021 line-up earlier this month, ahead of the show’s return to Gwrych Castle in Wales in November.

On Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, Frankie was asked about the speculation by fellow panelist Christine Lampard.

Christine asked: “There are a lot of rumours that you may be taking a trip to a certain Welsh castle very soon. True or false?”

Frankie replied: “I feel like I’m on some sort quiz show!”

Brenda Edwards pushed the singer for an answer, asking: “Just tell us, have you been eating things you shouldn’t be?”

Frankie said: “Well, I’m not gonna tell you that! You know, I’m rumoured every year. Every year I get messages from all my friends, and they’re like, ‘are you doing it?’ And I’m like ‘no’, and then they’ll message me saying, ‘you’d tell me no anyway!'”

Christine then added: “I think you’d be brilliant in there, and I know, obviously, you can’t confirm or deny.”

It comes after a source told The Sun the 32-year-old had been offered a bumper deal to join the show, which her husband Wayne appeared on in 2016.

The insider said: “Wayne really enjoyed his time in the Australian jungle, and Frankie is looking forward to giving the show a go too. She is pretty excited.”

Frankie and Wayne are parents to two sons – Parker, eight, and Carter, six.

The insider added: “She is nervous about leaving Wayne and the boys for such a long time, but she is determined to give the challenge her all and really throw herself in.”

An ITV spokesman told the publication: “We don’t comment on speculation.”

EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt, presenter Richard Madeley and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Philips have also been linked to this year’s line-up.
