Celebrity Big Brother fans have slammed hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best as they announced a huge change ahead of the show’s launch.

During the week, the hosts took to Instagram to reveal a huge shake-up in the show’s structure.

AJ and Will revealed that viewers will not be voting to save their favourite housemates instead of evicting them.

AJ announced: “Celebrity Big Brother is just around the corner so we are coming at you with big news.”

As Will explained: “You’ll remember the last series of Big Brother you were voting to evict. This time for Celeb BB you are voting for your favourite housemate. You’re always voting to save.”

AJ pondered on how this change may impact the show and said: “I don’t know how it’s going to change the dynamics within the Big Brother house or how fans are going to rally behind their favourite celebrity but I for one cannot wait to find out!”

However, many fans did not share her enthusiasm and took to the comments to share their thoughts on the producer’s decision.

One user penned: “hate vote to save…always have always will. It’s not how BB should be, I detest it…are celebs too sensitive to be voted to evict then?”

Another wrote: “Hate voting to save, there’s then no way of getting the one you want out because you can’t vote for everybody else.”

A third commented: “Never understood why people prefer vote to save. The houseguests nominate for eviction, we should vote the same.”

Kelly’s mum Sharon confirmed the news | Instagram

Sharon Osbourne, who was a judge on the show from 2004 to 2007, has now been linked to the reality TV show line-up.

A new report has revealed that the 71-year-old is set to fly to the UK from the US next week.

This comes after a new report revealed that Louis Walsh has reportedly signed up to appear on the rebooted version of the show.

A source told The Sun: “Landing Sharon is a huge coup for the series, especially as she has such a strong on-screen partnership with Louis.

“She isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and has a wealth of showbiz stories up her sleeves.

“She is guaranteed entertainment and sure to be a hit with viewers.”
