Louis Walsh ‘signs up’ to appear on celebrity version of major reality show

Louis Walsh has reportedly signed up to appear on the rebooted version of Celebrity Big Brother.

Following reports he was in advanced talks with ITV producers, insiders have claimed the former X Factor judge has landed himself a six-figure deal.

A “close associate” told The Sun: “He is one of the most intriguing signings for Celebrity Big Brother because he has almost half a century of experience in showbusiness to recall when he enters the house.”

“Viewers will be most interested in his memories of his time on The X Factor and working with huge music acts including Westlife and Boyzone.

“But there may be a few celebrities outside the house who are feeling nervous about what he might say, because Louis is notoriously outspoken.”

Louis has managed major bands like Westlife, Boyzone and Girls Aloud throughout his career, and famously appeared as a judge on The X Factor from 2004 – 2014, before he returned from 2016 to 2017.

In response to claims Louis is set to appear on CBB, an ITV spokesman said: “All names are purely speculation.”

According to reports, producers are hoping to keep the full line-up a secret until the live launch show on March 4th.

The big names already linked to the line-up include Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, and Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom.
