Sharing the news on Instagram, the presenter wrote: “Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54 am.”

“Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!” he added.

The beloved TV duo have melted hearts once again as Ant made Dec his newborn’s godfather.

Wilder is Ant’s first child while Anne-Marie has two kids, Poppy, and Daisy, from her previous marriage.

A source has told the Daily Mail that the pair now feel like their family is “complete.”

The outlet also reported that Ant will not return to work until May 27 when the Britain’s Got Talent live semis begin as he is on paternity leave.

A source also said of his happiness at becoming a first-time dad: “Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond thrilled — their little family is complete.”

“They’ve been overwhelmed with lovely messages from friends, family and fans and are still wading through them. They are incredibly grateful to everyone.”

“They chose the name, Wilder, a while ago but have deliberately kept it a closely guarded secret.”

“They are going to be absolutely wonderful, doting parents and Ant cannot wait to be a hands-on dad, changing the nappies and just spending time with little Wilder.”

The couple’s pregnancy was revealed in December when Anne-Marie was spotted sporting a baby bump.

During an interview with Fault Magazine in February, Ant addressed his wife’s pregnancy for the first time as he spoke about the end of Saturday Night Takeaway, which he hosted alongside Declan Donnelly.

He said at the time: “On a more personal level, part of the reason we’re pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family.”
