Game of Thrones has almost come to an end, and on Monday night – fans of the show were treated to the best (and most intense) episode nine ever.
Episode nine of every season is notorious for being the most shocking, and season six certainly didn’t disappoint.
Last night, not only did we see Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons slay at life, but we also witnessed the greatest battle scene ever in Games of Thrones history – and you won’t believe the amount of work that went into making it epic.
The Battle of Winterfell, or the Battle of Bastards, saw Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton finally go head to head, resulting in the most terrifying, heart-stopping and sweat inducing battle scene.
What surprised us the most is the lack of CGI, of course they used CGI to a certain extent – but a lot of the stunt work and scenes were played out in real life – including the scene where horses are whizzing by Jon Snow as he fights against Ramsay and his army.
This is seriously impressive!
