Season two of Outer Banks landed on Netflix last week, and viewers have been loving it.
The first season, which came out last summer, followed friends John B, Pope, JJ, Kiara and Sarah – who live on the Outer Banks Islands.
While searching for treasure rumoured to be lost at sea just off the island, the group got in way deeper than expected.
A string of murders and some dark secrets came to light, putting the group in some dangerous situations.
The first season ended with lovers John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline) suspected dead by their friends and families, and John B wanted dead or alive for murder.
The show is currently the number one trending series on Netflix in Ireland, with the plot thickening in season two.
Viewers have been taking to Twitter to share what they think of the new season and it’s shocking season finale.
The general consensus seems to be that the new season is even more twisted and mind-blowing than the last.

Seasons one and two of the drama series are available to stream on Netflix now.
A third season has not yet been confirmed but judging by the show’s extreme popularity and that cliffhanger, this won’t be the last we see of Outer Banks.
