Actress Victoria Smurfit has revealed she’s writing a knockout TV show – a version of Million Dollar Baby.
The Dracula star is halfway through penning the boxing-set script, which she will then pitch to stations.
She said: “I’m halfway through it and I’m into boxing at the minute. It won’t be quite as intense as Million Dollar Baby, but it’s for TV.”
Previously Victoria – who is now based in Los Angeles – co-wrote a pilot called Make It or Break It with Holly Sorenson for US station ABC.

And the 40-year-old admits it gives her a welcome break from casting sessions in Hollywood.
Recently, Victoria finished shooting psychological thriller The Taking, in the UK.
“I was excited to take on the part because she’s a character who is victimised,” she told the Herald.
“And that’s something I rarely get to do because I’m a big strapping yoke,” she said.
This weekend Victoria is returning to Ireland as an ambassador for the Irish Champions Weekend.
