TV3 actors ordered to the ground by ARMED Gardai while filming new show

Stars filming a new TV3 show were ordered to the ground at gunpoint by armed Gardai.

Cops smashed down a door in Dundrum, Dublin last week after reports of a raid from a neighbour.

Officers burst in with their weapons out after it was reported that masked gunmen had entered the property shouting “get down on the floor”.

However it turned out they were filming a new show for TV3’s upcoming season – Ireland’s Biggest Robberies.

When Gardai entered the property, they ordered a balaclava-wearing man – who appeared to be carrying a revolver – to the ground at gunpoint.

Detectives also encountered a second man appearing to be carrying a gun – with three replica firearms seized, the Irish Sun reports.

A TV3 producer told Gardai they had sought permission from the Garda Press Office to film in the property – but it appears local officers weren’t told.

A TV3 spokeswoman said: “We were filming a new series Ireland’s Biggest Robberies. I suppose it is a credit to the actors involved their performances were so convincing.”

Previously Love/Hate has also seen themselves being confronted by armed Gardai as well.
