The Masked Dancer UK premiered on ITV and Virgin Media One on Saturday night.
Similar to The Masked Singer, the wacky show sees celebrity contestants perform dance routines while disguised in extravagant costumes.
Judges Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Oti Mabuse try to guess the character’s true identities, before one celebrity is eliminated and unmasked at the end of each episode.

Zip, Carwash, Beagle, Squirrel, Scarecrow, Frog, Beetroot, Viper, Rubber Chicken, Flamingo, Knickerbocker Glory and Llama made their dancing debuts on the show last night, with Viper becoming the first celeb to be eliminated.
The Viper was unmasked as Diversity star Jordan Banjo.
Speaking about his brief stint on the show, the professional dancer said: “The past 12 months everyone has just been in a place where it’s like, it just hasn’t been fun and something like The Masked Dancer is about coming on here, dressing up stupid and having a laugh and like let’s just have some fun man.”

Viewers took to Twitter to react to the unmasking, with many feeling “angry” that Jordan was the first to leave the series.
One fan wrote: “So angry that @Jordan_Banjo was kicked out over beetroot???? SHE JUST WALKED FOR HER WHOLE PERFORMANCE! Bad call judges #themaskeddancer.”
Another tweeted: “I’m annoyed already at the first episode of #TheMaskedDancer how can they vote Jordan Banjo off a dancing show.”
