The Bear has reportedly been renewed for a fourth season.
The show began filming the third instalment in Chicago recently, with local media and fans speculating that the Emmy award-winning series has been renewed for a fourth.
Sources have since told Deadline that they’re now filming seasons 3 & 4 back to back.
Season 3 was renewed last November, and is set to premiere in June on FX and Hulu.
Multiple paparazzi shots of the cast filming in Chicago, which included Jeremy-Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, were shot last week amid these reports.
Multiple outlets have also theorised that the fourth season could sadly be the last.
Other successful FX shows such as Atlanta, which starred Donald Glover, also filmed their third and fourth seasons back-to-back, with the fourth being its last.
A spokesperson for FX declined to comment about an announcement of a possible fourth season.
Unfortunately we will have to wait and see if there is any truth to these rumours, but until then we can eagerly await June for The Bear to return with its third season.
