The first 2017 line-up for The Late Late Show is here – and it’s VERY good

The Late Late Show returns with a stellar line-up this Friday night including the stars of hit new drama Striking Out, and celebs preparing to tango their way into living rooms across Ireland on Dancing with the Stars.

Amy Huberman and Neil Morrissey will join host Ryan Tubridy in studio to chat about their hit new legal drama Striking Out.

Amy will be filling viewers in on life as one of the most famous women in Ireland and some exciting new projects on the horizon and Neil will be chatting about his journey from very humble beginnings to becoming one of the biggest names on British television.

With the much anticipated Dancing with the Stars launching this weekend, viewers will meet three contenders – Hughie Maughan, Teresa Mannion and Des Cahill – and their dancing partners.

Meanwhile, RTÉ’s US correspondent Caitriona Perry has spent the last two years covering one of the most tumultuous and unprecedented elections in America’s history – and she’ll be giving viewers an insight into what it was like to cover the Trump circus, where it went wrong for Hillary Clinton, how things are shaping up now and what it means for the undocumented Irish still living there.

There will also be music from singer Connor McKeon, paying tribute to the music icons we lost in 2016 with a very special performance, and country music star Derek Ryan will be in studio with his latest hit.

Ryan will also be chatting about what the new year may bring with actor and raconteur Michael Harding, The Rubberbandits’ Blindboy Boatclub and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope writer Stefanie Preissner.

Watch The Late Late Show this Friday, 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
