Eastenders’ Danny Dyer teases character Mick Carter may be returning to BBC soap

Eastenders’ Danny Dyer has teased that his character Mick Carter may return to the BBC soap.

After dropping a bombshell, the actor sent fans into a frenzy that his iconic character may return to Albert Square.

Although the 46-year-old is working on the sequel to his famous film The Football Factory, he still seems keen to return to the show.

On Friday, Danny left a cryptic comment under his on-screen wife’s Instagram post.

The Queen Vic landlord was married to the troubled alcoholic Shirley Carter, who is played by Linda Carter.

In the explosive 2022 Christmas Day episode, Mick seemingly died after he jumped into the sea in an attempt to save his ex-wife Janine Butcher.

The alleged death caused huge devastation for viewers who are massive fans of Danny’s character Mick.

Strictly Come Dancing star Kellie Bright took to Instagram dressed in Linda’s costume with her hair and makeup done.

The 47-year-old referenced another Christmas storyline from 2023 where character Keanu was killed.
