Cillian Murphy has opened up on getting the chance to meet the late David Bowie.
The singer, who passed away earlier this year, had requested for his music to be featured on the actors BBC show, Peaky Blinders.
“I was very fortunate to meet and to talk to him,” he revealed.

Cillian further revealed that the two of them were fans of each other, making their meeting a very bittersweet memory for him.
“He was a fan, you know, and it’s very bittersweet for me – being such a huge fan of his music, and then losing him, and then having it on the show,” the 40-year-old said to Spin.com.
“It’s beautiful but very heartbreaking at the same time.”
