Susan Loughnane becomes victim of holiday scam

Actress Susan Loughnane has become the latest victim of a holiday scam.

The Love/Hate star had booked what she thought was a weeks holiday in Portugal only to find it was all fake.

“Devastated! Just been hit with a massive scam with @OwnersDirect we have flights to Portugal on Wednesday and no villa as it was all a scam,” she tweeted.

Susan contacted the villa directly to ensure the booking was sorted only to discover there was no booking in her name.

“We’re going away for ten days. When we got in touch with the owner of the villa recently after paying the deposit, he’d never heard of us and said he didn’t have a booking,” she told the Irish Daily Mail. 

Susan and her boyfriend David Doyle got engaged earlier this year and the star revealed she loves using the word fiance.
