Storm Uechtritz admits houses in Dublin: 'are definitely not cheap'

Storm Uechtritz has admitted she’s shocked by the high property prices in Dublin as she looks to settle down with boyfriend Ronan Keating.

The TV producer and the Boyzone star have been shopping around for a new pad in North County Dublin where they can be close to Ronan’s kids.

“Oh my god, it’s definitely not cheap. We’re talking real estate prices equivalent to Sydney and Melbourne.

“It’s difficult for us because we want a bit of land and at the same time that’s near Malahide,” she said

Storm also revealed that herself and Ronan may decide to rent before they settle on a house to buy.

“Renting is definitely an option if we decide to renovate an old place or build a brand new one,” she told The Sun.

“We have to be realistic about this because the priority is being there for the kids.”

Meanwhile, the Australian native has started to pick up traits of the Irish accent – with Ronan’s kids even thinking she sounds more native than they do.

“The kids say I now sound more Irish than they are.

“I know when I ring my mother in Australia on the phone, she notices that I say ‘like’ at the end of every sentence,” she added.

It comes after Storm recently revealed she would love to change her last name to Keating if her and Ronan tie the knot.
