Simon Cowell has revealed he’s annoyed about One Direction’s solo careers.
The music mogul created the band on 2010’s X Factor when Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik all came as solo auditions before being grouped together.
“It’s a bit like I’m getting the hint you don’t want me to come to the party. Sorry for making you famous,” he said.

All members of the band now have their own solo careers and Simon has admitted that he would’ve liked the boys to have talked to him about them.
“Look, I’m not going to lie when I hear they’re doing something, and they haven’t approached me,” he told The Sun.
“You think, ‘Well I would have liked you to,’ but it’s their choice. I’m not bitter – much.”

The father-of-one also admitted that even though he’s annoyed that the music business can be difficult.
“It is a bit annoying if I am honest with you – mainly because it is a another label who has now got your artist who you worked with for so many years.
“But that is the music business, unfortunately. I don’t think anyone else from the band will do that,” he added.
