The actor revealed that even before he had kids, he didn’t like the idea of Paul tucking his kids in to bed then going to murder at night.

“I don’t like what he stands for and I don’t like him per se, but I find him fascinating and there’s a huge allure about him that got me early on and I think that’s important,” Jamie told the Irish Independent.

“I didn’t even have kids [when they made the first series] and I found it very disturbing that he would be tucking his kids into bed and then going and murdering an innocent woman.”

The Fall returns to the BBC on September 29th.
