Ruth Negga lands the cover of Vogue

Ruth Negga has landed the cover of Vogue, and she looks incredible on the front page.

The Ethiopian-born actress, who was raised in Limerick by her Irish mother, has been making waves over in the US thanks to her role in new film Loving.

The star was unveiled as the cover girl for US Vogue’s January 2017 issue, and her photoshoot was shot by the one and only Mario Testino.

The brunette looks stunning in all the shots, in which she dons plenty of elegant pieces from Gucci, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and more.

Ruth showed off her natural beauty as her hair was scraped back into a bun, which she paired with subtle eye make-up and a bright orange lip.

The actress wears an Alexander Wang shirt and a Rodarte ear cuff on the front cover.

The news comes as the 34-year-old has been tipped for an Oscar nomination, ever since Loving premiered at Cannes in May.

The film is based on the true story of Mildred Jeter and Richard Loving, an interracial couple who were arrested in 1958 for marrying.
