The Rubberbandits have announced that one of their songs will feature on the official soundtrack of T2 Trainspotting.
The comedy duo’s song Dad’s Best Friend is included in the soundtrack to the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 hit Trainspotting.
They announced the exciting news in a post on their official Facebook page.
The post was simply captioned “Limerick representing on the soundtrack to the new Trainspotting film. Yurt.”
The Limerick pair are mixed in with the likes of Queen, Blondie, Underworld, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood in the soundtrack.
The original cast of Trainspotting are involved in the sequel.
Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner star in the movie, and director Danny Boyle reprised his role for the film.
T2 Trainspotting is set for release on the 27th of January 2017 in Ireland.
