Model Rosanna Davison has told how she feared now husband Wes Quirke was having a “heart attack” as he proposed.
The former Miss World revealed the proposal came as a complete shock to her as she “didn’t know what he was doing.”
“He sort of came around in front of me and sort of disappeared down. And I looked down and thought he was having a heart attack or a fit or something, I didn’t know what he was doing,” she said.

“He rummaged around in his shorts and took out a box and opened it up.
“The sun was beating down on the ring and it was just sparkling in the light and of course I just burst into tears.”
The Dublin beauty also insisted that she believes tying the knot isn’t for everyone and that people should be “non judgemental” the personal decision of marriage.
Speaking on new RTE show, The Proposal, she said: “I can appreciate that it’s not relevant or important for an awful lot of people and really should be a personal choice.

“I don’t think anyone should be judged on whether they are married or not or having children outside of marriage or not.”
However the blonde bombshell believes when it came down to the big day itself that she went for a “quite moderate” approach.
“In order to get married abroad, we had to get married first in Ireland so what we decided on was rather than going to a registry office, we decided on having a humanist ceremony,” she said.
“We had that in the Merrion Hotel in mid May. We went to Ibiza, it was about eighty people so we kept it kind of quite moderate and we had the white dress, another blessing ceremony.”
