Golf star Rory McIlroy has revealed he has to sing on stage with One Direction after humiliating his caddy Niall Horan at the Masters in Augusta.
The boyband singer was left mortified when he hit a ball into the water after Rory handed him a club on the ninth toe.
The Mullingar native was further embarrassed when he took a tumble on live TV.
However, Rory is now set to be the one turning red as he has to sing with the chart topping group this Summer.

“The deal was if I made him hit a shot  here..they’replaying in Boston at the end of the summer when I’m there and I’m going to have to get up on stage,” he said.
“I’ll have to maybe sing a few lines so I’m not looking forward to that,” he told Sky Sports.
“It’s been a great afternoon and he’s been a great sport for doing it. I stuck him with a big bag for the first nine holes.”
“I think he was expecting something lighter.”

Following the slip-up, Niall sent a message to his fans to watch their step at Augusta.
“If you’re walking around Augusta, don’t step on the pine leaves, slippy as hell. #redfaced!”
