Ronan Keating has stepped down as a director of the Marie Keating Foundation.
The singer started the cancer charity in memory of his mother 14 years ago.
Ronan set up the foundation alongside his siblings and his father.

Liz Yeates, chief executive of the foundation, said Ronan will stay “actively involved” in fundraising.
“Ronan Keating continues to be the charity’s patron and his sister Linda is director of fundraising,” she said.
“Gary Keating, also a son of Marie Keating, has rejoined the board, and we have also recruited two new board members Edel Creely and Michael O’Reilly, who bring with them specific expertise in technology and finance respectively.”
Confirming the news on Twitter, Ronan wrote:
“@ronanofficial: I have stood down as a Director of @MarieKeating for now. It’s something all Directors must do. We must rotate the board. I’m still Active.”
