Ronan Keating has opened up about his son’s “frightening” hospitalisation.
Back in September, the Boyzone star posted a photo of his four-year-old son Cooper in hospital wearing an oxygen mask, and revealed he was “worried sick” about him.
Thankfully, Cooper quickly recovered and was sent home after 48 hours, but it was a scary experience for Ronan and his wife Storm.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 44-year-old said: “It was frightening. You’d give anything to get them back and healthy. You’d sacrifice anything to make sure your kids are OK.”
“I’ve been through the process of going to A&E, and spending four hours in the waiting room, then spending two nights in the hospital, my heart just breaking, their little faces on oxygen…
“He just had a respiratory thing and was fine. It wasn’t anything serious in the end but it was serious enough that we had to go to A&E,” he explained.

Ronan and Storm tied the knot in 2015, and the couple share two children together – Cooper, 4, and Coco, 21 months.
The Irish singer also shares three children – Jack, 22, Missy, 20, and Ali, 16 – with his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly.
Earlier this month, the Boyzone star confirmed he’s officially done having kids as he’s undergone a vasectomy.
During his appearance on Celebrity Juice, host Keith Lemon asked: “Last time you were on Celebrity Juice, we broke the news that you’d been considering the snip. Can you confirm or not confirm that you’ve had it?”
After a drum roll, Ronan replied: “Well… I’ve had it, I’ve had it. I’ve had the snip! Freedom! Freedom!”
