The 35-year-old and his wife Gillian have moved back home from the UK – and his kids are even going to school in the area.
Now it has emerged that Filan is in the process of buying this six-bedrooms, five-bathrooms beach-side property for €780,000.

According to the Irish Sun, the once-bankrupt singer has lodged an application to buy some of the land on the site and is expected to live in the property.
The Filans had moved to Surrey, just outside of London, in 2012 after he went bankrupt with debts of €23million after his property development plans collapsed.

They had been living in a home in Sligo for which he was once offered €10million – but it was sold off by receivers for just €800,000.
Previously Shane admitted he hoped to get back to his native county, despite bad memories there.

He said: “All our family are still there, it’s home. Without a doubt we will move back there again.”
He said that leaving the mansion was the “hardest day of my life”, adding: “I absolutely broke down when I left the house.”

But wife Gillian said: “It was sad hearing about it being sold but you can’t let the sale of a house affect you, it’s a material object, it doesn’t define you.
“It was difficult but you were asked to choose between your health and your kids’ health and a house. You would pick health.”
