The weekend is finally here where we can sit back and gawk at all of our favourite celebs and influencers as they strut their stuff on the red carpet for the VIP Style Awards.
The fashion event of the year is back with a bang this year, hosted by Maia Dunphy, sponsored by Peter Mark and of course Inglot is back on board as their official makeup sponsor.
Over the years we’ve seen the biggest and brightest stars stun in full length gowns, short numbers and some snazy suits.
But not all the looks have been good ones…take a look at the most iconic outfits from the VIP Style Awards so far.
Rosanna Davison’s Cape Crusade
Rosie is definitely the queen of Irish red carpets, and has worn a few stunning numbers of the years.
Our favourite has to be this red gown from the VIPs in 2016.
Making sure to have a stellar arrival, Rosanna had every single camera on her as she showed off her red cape.
This is taking ‘Lady in Red’ to the next level…
Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin
The year Conor probably reached his height of fame for the first time, he rolled up to the VIP Style Awards – and it made the night even more fun.
The UFC champion was his other half’s plus one (yes, really) as Dee Devlin was nominated and won Best Newcomer.
Conor arrived with a whole team of personal security of course, and he even attended the after-party in Coppers.
He could have worn a bin bag and this still would have been iconic.
Kate Price
We can’t talk about the VIP Style Awards without mentioning Katie Price’s arrival back in 2011.
The glamour model, also known as Jordan, showed up with her then partner Leandro Penna.
Wearing this bizarre see-through white, and very revealing number, Katie was centre of attention for the night.
The TV star and her beau were also spotted heading to the VIP after party, and were photographed leaving Dublin’s Shelbourne hotel together.
Darren Kennedy and his dog
We’re also scoping out who will be plus ones at the awards, and nothing beat Darren Kennedy bringing his dog in 2015.
Hosting the event that year all eyes were on the fashion guru, but we couldn’t stop gushing over his dog Harry.
Harry seemed to love the camera just as much as his dad.
Roz Purcell’s Suit
We’re so used to seeing floor length dazzling gowns, glitzy cocktail dresses and sharp suits, but Roz Purcell definitely started the two-piece suit trend on the ladies.
The Tipperary model blew everyone away in this stunning blue suit, which she actually had designed herself.
Roz wore this look in 2014, and we continue to see suits on the red carpet today.
That Time A Seagull Pooed on Amanda Brunker
Last, but certainly not least, don’t you remember where you were when you heard Amanda Brunker arrived to the VIP Style Awards with bird poo in her hair?
The TV personality and author came to the red carpet after a seagull had literally pooed on her head.
Luckily VIP’s publisher Michael O’Doherty was on hand to scoop it out for her…how sweet.
